Elder financial exploitation is the fastest-growing form of elder abuse. It occurs when someone illegally or improperly uses an older adult's money, property, or assets for their own benefit.

Protect yourself and your loved ones by:

  • Never sharing personal or financial information with unknown callers
  • Reviewing bank accounts and credit reports regularly
  • Taking time before making financial decisions
  • Working with trusted financial professionals
  • Reporting suspicious activity immediately
