Moultrie, GA – November 20, 2023 – First National Bank is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new Drive-Thru Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Monday, November 20, 2023, at 1:30 p.m.
First National Bank's commitment to Moultrie dates back to June 2021 when it officially opened its doors in the heart of downtown. The new Drive-Thru ITMs, strategically positioned behind the current location at 24 1st Street Southwest, features two lanes, providing customers with seamless and efficient service.
Market President of First National Bank of Moultrie, Marc DeMott, expressed the importance of investing in the community, stating, "We wanted to invest in this community, and opening our new location in the heart of Moultrie was important to us. Purchasing and revitalizing the property where the old YMCA was located continued that commitment."
Incorporating the latest in banking technology, the new building stands as a testament to the bank's dedication to innovation. Notably, two Historical Crests from the former YMCA building have been preserved and are prominently displayed one on the exterior of the new facility and the other original crest has been graciously donated to the YMCA, ensuring the preservation of Moultrie's historical legacy.
As part of our ongoing commitment to our community, First National Bank introduces a unique feature in its ITMs. Customers cashing checks will now have the opportunity to donate their change to the United Way of Colquitt County. This innovative initiative allows us to give back to the community, even when the ITMs don't provide physical change.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a momentous occasion, marking the fusion of modern banking conveniences with a deep respect for Moultrie's rich history and commitment to the community.
