Bainbridge, GA — June 12, 2026 — First National Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Donna Kelley to Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer (CPO).
Donna has been with First National Bank since its founding in 2004, serving as both Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Director. Over the past two decades, she has worn many hats and played a vital role in the Bank’s success and growth.
As First National Bank continues to grow and strengthen its operations, the decision to create separate CFO and HR leadership roles reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to excellence and its people-first culture. In her new role as Chief People Officer, Donna will focus exclusively on advancing the Bank’s human resources strategy, employee engagement, and organizational culture—ensuring that First National Bank remains a place where employees thrive and customers feel the difference.
“Donna has been instrumental in shaping First National Bank from day one,” said Brad Barber, CEO and President. “Her leadership, integrity, and dedication to our employees have helped build the culture that makes us who we are today. Elevating her to Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer reflects both her contributions and the Bank’s growth. This move allows Donna to focus her passion on our people—our most important asset.”
Kelley said she is excited about the opportunity to focus on people and culture in her new role.
“I’ve been blessed to grow with this Bank from the very beginning,” Kelley said. “As we continue to expand, our people remain at the heart of everything we do. I’m honored to serve as Chief People Officer and help ensure that First National Bank continues to be a great place to work and grow.”
