Moultrie, GA — First National Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Cole Pitts to Market President. In his new role, Pitts will lead the Moultrie team, continue to develop the market, and expand the team as the Bank continues to grow. He will also serve as a member of the Bank’s Senior Management Team.
Cole joined First National Bank in December 2020 as an Assistant Vice President and Lender for the Moultrie Market. Born and raised in Moultrie, he graduated from Colquitt County High School in 2011 and attended Georgia Tech on a baseball scholarship, earning his business degree in 2016. Cole is a graduate of the Georgia Banking School and is on track to graduate next May from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
Before joining First National Bank Cole spent four years with Southwest Georgia Bank in Moultrie, where he gained experience across multiple areas of banking including operations, customer service, credit analysis, and portfolio management. Cole is married to another Colquitt County native, Abbey Funderburk Pitts. They have three young children and are active members of First Baptist Church in Moultrie. Cole is actively involved in the community serving on numerous civic boards, coaching in youth sports and being active in community events.
