First National Bank Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Bainbridge, GA — President & CEO Brad Barber announced today that the Bank recently hired

Karen T. Boyd as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer.

Boyd officially joined the First National Bank leadership team on October 1, 2025, as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As the Chief Financial Officer, Boyd is responsible for overseeing all financial areas of the Bank, providing strategic direction, and leadership to support continued growth.

Boyd began her banking career in 2003 and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Controller at Southwest Georgia Bank in Moultrie. Karen earned her BBA in Accounting from Valdosta State University and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Liberty University. Karen is a graduate of the Georgia Bankers Association Banking School and a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

“Karen brings an incredible skill set, a wealth of experience, and a strong background in community banking,” said Brad Barber. “Her expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our financial performance and position the Bank for the future.”

A longtime resident of Southwest Georgia, Boyd has been married to her husband, Jeff Boyd, for more than 35 years. They have one adult child and two grandchildren.
