Bert Hines Graduates from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU

Bainbridge, GA – Bert Hines, Bainbridge Market President at First National Bank, is among the 152 bankers who received their graduation diplomas on May 31, 2024, from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. This rigorous three-year program provides comprehensive courses covering all aspects of banking, economics, and related subjects. Students traveled from eighteen states and Mexico to participate in this session.

The knowledge and experience I gained over the past three years have been invaluable, and I look forward to applying what I've learned to serve our community and customers better," said Bert Hines.

Sponsored by 15 southern-state bankers associations in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education at LSU, the Graduate School of Banking at LSU requires three-year campus attendance, complemented by extensive bank study assignments between sessions. The faculty comprises more than 50 bankers, business and professional leaders, and educators across the United States.

During their three summer sessions at the Graduate School of Banking, students received 180 hours of classroom instruction and engaged in planned evening study sessions. At the end of each session, they completed final examinations.
